A letter to my older self:
I hope that by now you realized that life can change in the blink
of an eye, that the people that once were by your side are not going
to stay there forever, (but that doesn’t mean you can’t keep them in your heart along with those amazing memories you shared once)
People change and that means you change too, hopefully to a better version of yourself , hope you learned about your mistakes and your still willing to improve on whatever it is that makes you feel bad about yourself, maybe a bad attitude or an addiction you may have.
Maybe nowadays you feel like nobody it’s trustworthy, but just because probably a lot of people let you down before doesn’t mean everyone is going to act in the same way.
So don’t let your heart build a shield and let people out of your life.
Don’t be afraid to speak your mind because all the words you swallow are going to drown you on the inside.
I hope you were smart enough to take care of your body, that you used your fps daily and now you don’t have any sun spots, I hope that you nourished your body and feed it the right way so you don’t have to deal with the consequences.
I hope you haven’t lost your ability to find the bright side even in the darkest moments, I know that a lot of times you felt like it didn’t make sense to continue being positive about everything but trust me is the only way not to get your heart bitter.
I hope that by now you have made of your sister your best friend and that
you have mended all the mistakes, and all the harmful things you ever said to each other are already way buried in the past, at the end of the day you’ll always have your sister because she’s family and family it’s forever.
Don’t forget to smile to strangers even if they are being rude, remember that you’ll never know what they are dealing with and how their day was. Just think about how you feel after someone has been nice to you just by the sake of being nice.
Smell a lot of flowers, take a few minutes to enjoy a sunrise and eat all the chocolate you can!
The numbers on the scale and the ones in your bank account are not equal to your level of happiness in any way!
And last but not least I hope you’re still living by “Everything it’s possible… If you just find the way!”
